So why am I here talking about Linux?
Because switching to Linux was way harder than it needed to be!
G’day! I’m Daniel Holdsworth, and when I decided to switch to Linux I spent months trying to get my computer to work how I wanted. When I searched for help I found:
- Guides that assumed I already knew things I didn’t
- Conflicting advice depending on which Linux version people were using
- YouTube videos that were either too basic or way too technical
- Outdated forums chats
Every time I thought I’d solved a problem, I’d hit another roadblock. Some fixes worked, others didn’t — but there was no single resource to help beginners setup Linux for professional audio production.
